Behind the Song:
Surrender was written during a time when I was trying to remind myself to let go and surrender the outcome of a particular situation. From my perspective, it is not our job to wonder how something is going to happen (hence, "let go of the how"). Instead, it is our job to get into the feeling place of already having "it," whatever that "it" might be.

Sometimes the messages we share with others are the very ones we need to hear ourselves, and this song became my own little reminder to surrender, trust, and allow things to unfold.
